Setting up your Brink Integration

Important: Brink Integrations require a third-party license from Omnivore.

When you’re ready to get started with ChowNow, your Onboarding Specialist will reach out to coordinate an Omnivore Installation and kick off the integration process.

Preparing your Brink system to go live with ChowNow

Please ensure these settings have been configured before going live with ChowNow. ​If you need any help setting these up, please reach out to your POS Representative for assistance.

App-specific Tender Types in Brink.
Your Brink system will need a unique tender type for each Delivery App you plan on integrating. Please create one tender for every platform you currently use – for example, one called “UberEats”, one called “DoorDash”, and so forth.

An Order Type in Brink.
Your Brink system will need an order type to assign ChowNow orders to – for example, one called “Delivery”, or an individual order type for each app, such as “UberEats”, “DoorDash”, and so forth.

A Revenue Center in Brink.
Your Brink system will need a revenue center to assign ChowNow orders to – for example, one called “Delivery”.

A “ChowNow” Employee in Brink.
Create a new Employee in your POS, named “ChowNow”. This will be the employee responsible for entering all of your online orders into your POS.

Brink Integration FAQ’s

Will I be able to access my entire POS Menu from the ChowNow Dashboard?

Yes, you will be able to access your entire Brink Menu from the ChowNow Dashboard after successfully completing the integration process.

I use universal modifiers (i.e., I can add any modifier to any main item) on my POS. Can ChowNow support this?

At this time, the ChowNow x Brink integration supports traditional modifiers only. This means that any modifiers must be subitems directly underneath the appropriate main item.

Can I apply payment manually instead of ChowNow doing it automatically?

The ChowNow x Brink integration supports automatic payment closure only.

Can I add a discount to all of the orders that ChowNow enters?

Yes, this can be configured by your Onboarding Specialist upon request.
