One-time campaigns let you promote specific moments — a new menu item, a slow Tuesday, a holiday special — to exactly the audience you want. Reporting shows you which sends are landing, so you can double down on what works the next time you hit “send”.

Where to find your reports

In your ChowNow Dashboard, navigate to “Marketing” > “One-Time Campaigns”, then select “Reports”. You’ll see a table showing performance across all one-time campaigns that have been sent.

When to check performance

We recommend reviewing campaign performance at least 24 hours after sending. This gives diners time to open, click, and act on your message, so you’re looking at a complete picture rather than partial early results.

Understanding your metrics

  • Status: Whether a campaign has been sent, is scheduled, or is still in draft. A quick way to confirm what’s gone out and what’s queued up.
  • Sent: The total number of emails or texts delivered to diners for that campaign. This shows the size of your reach for each send.
  • Opens & Open Rate: How many diners opened your message, shown as both a count and a percentage of total sends. A strong open rate means your subject line and timing are landing — a low one is a signal to test new messaging.
  • Clicks & Click Rate: How many diners clicked through from your message to your ordering page, as a count and percentage. This is your clearest signal of intent — clicks mean diners are actively considering an order.
  • Sales: Total food sales generated by one-time campaigns. Includes orders using a promo code or orders placed within 14 days of a diner opening the email.
  • Unsubscribes & Unsubscribe Rate: How many diners opted out of future messages. A small number is normal and healthy; a sudden spike is worth a closer look at frequency or offer relevance.

Tip: On-demand campaigns are a great place to experiment. Try testing different offers, send times, or subject lines across campaigns and use the reports to see what resonates most with your diners. Then, apply those learnings to future sends.
