An order “for now” means customers want the order as soon as possible and your staff can indicate on the tablet when the order will be ready. An order “for later” means customers can place their order in advance.

A bubble will pop up on the top right corner of your ChowNow tablet notifying you that an advanced order has been placed. The advanced order will ring as a new order based on the order ahead time you set in the ChowNow Dashboard. For example, if you set your order ahead time for 30 minutes and a customer places an advanced order at 12:00pm for 2:00pm, that order will ring on your tablet at 1:30pm.
