Currently, the ChowNow ordering system is unable to sync or correctly display Toast menus that utilize one or more of the following features:

  • Size Pricing on Modifiers
  • Time-Based Pricing
  • Negative Modifier Prices

Identifying Errors:
You can see if any errors are preventing this menu from being displayed correctly on ChowNow at the top of the integration page.

Click on the “View Error” link to view which items are affected.

Size Pricing on Modifiers
If you have configured a modifier group to adjust pricing based on the size of the menu item selected, this type of modifier pricing is not supported.

To remove, change the pricing strategy to ‘Each modifier has a unique price’ and then adjust the prices for each modifier.

Then make sure ‘Modifiers automatically use the same size as the items they are applied to’ is selected under ‘Size behavior’

Time-Based Pricing
If you have menu items that change price depending on the time of day, or the day of the week, ChowNow is unable to display the alternate price at those times.

ChowNow will always display the base price at all times of the day.

Negative Modifier Prices
ChowNow is unable to present any modifier option with a negative value, or “apply a credit” off the item price.

To resolve, replace the negative value with $0.00.
