As soon as an advance order is placed a notification bubble will pop up on the top right corner of your ChowNow tablet signifying you that an advance order has been placed.

If you have order notification emails activated on your ChowNow Dashboard, you will also receive an email letting you know an advance order has been placed. The advance order will ring as a new order based on the order ahead time set in the ChowNow Dashboard. For example, if you set your order ahead time for 30 minutes and a customer places an advance order at 12:00pm for 2:00pm, that order will ring on your tablet at 1:30pm. We recommend restaurant partners set their “Order Ahead Time” based on how long their kitchen needs to prepare an order.

There is also a “Large Order Ahead Time” so you can get more notice for orders over a certain dollar amount. You can indicate the “Large Order Amount” and “Large Order Ahead Time” in your Dashboard. If a customer orders over the “Large Order Amount” and places an order in less than the “Large Order Ahead Time” indicated-the order will ring immediately as an order for “Now”
