Rewards Program
Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 30, 2024
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN CHOWNOW’S RESTAURANT REWARDS PROGRAM (“REWARDS PROGRAM”) CAREFULLY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE REWARDS PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE REWARDS PROGRAM.
All capitalized terms, if not defined herein, have the meanings ascribed as set forth in the following terms, which are hereby incorporated into these Terms and Conditions: ChowNow Terms of Service and Restaurant Partner Agreement.
Rewards Program. From time to time, Restaurant Partners may choose to offer Diners digital rewards card(s), (each a “Rewards Card”) whereby Diners earn a sticker for each Qualifying Order until the Rewards Card is completed, and a Reward is unlocked.
Restaurant Partner Eligibility; Enrollment. All eligible Restaurant Partners may enroll in the Rewards Program by customizing and activating the terms of a Rewards Card on their ChowNow Dashboard under “Settings.” ChowNow reserves the right to pause, revoke, or terminate a Restaurant Partner’s enrollment in this Rewards Program at any time.
Diner Eligibility; Enrollment. Subject to further eligibility requirements in each Diner’s applicable jurisdiction, Diners with an active ChowNow account will be opted-in to the Rewards Program once they place a Qualifying Order at a participating Restaurant Partner.
Rewards Card. The terms of each Rewards Card is determined by the Restaurant Partner, at the Restaurant Partner’s discretion. Restaurant Partners determine the minimum order amount required of a Qualifying Order, the number of stickers that must be earned to unlock a Reward, and the redeemable Reward via the ChowNow Dashboard under “Settings.”
Earning Stickers. Stickers are automatically earned when an eligible Diner places a Qualifying Order with a Restaurant Partner that is enrolled in the Rewards Program with a Rewards Card enabled. Stickers accrue on a per-Restaurant Partner Location basis only.
Qualifying Orders; Restrictions. Qualifying Order means an order that satisfies the total minimum dollar spend per order as selected by the participating Restaurant Partner. Restaurant Partners set the Qualifying Order criteria via the ChowNow Dashboard under “Settings.” ChowNow and Restaurant Partner reserve the right to update, at any time, which items are eligible to accrue stickers for future purchases.
Rewards Card Progress. From time to time, ChowNow may update Diners about the status and progress of Rewards Card(s). At a minimum, Diners will be notified of Rewards Card progress after the first Qualifying Order and when a Reward has been earned.
Canceled Orders. Stickers will not accrue for any canceled orders, whether canceled by THER Diner or Restaurant Partner.
Redeeming a Reward. Rewards are selected by the Restaurant Partner at Restaurant Partner’s discretion. Once a Diner has completed a Rewards Card, the Reward will be automatically applied to the Diner’s next Qualifying Order and, if applicable, the first sticker on a subsequent Rewards Card is earned. Rewards will be applied toward an order subtotal only (prior to the applicability of any fees). Rewards cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion or discount. Rewards will be applied toward an order subtotal only (prior to the applicability of any fees). Rewards cannot be redeemed with any other promotion or combined to redeem more than one promotional reward per order.
Expiration of Rewards. For Rewards Cards, a Diner’s progress towards a Reward does not expire; only Rewards that have been unlocked are subject to expiration, if applicable. Should a Reward expire, Diner will not be entitled to any substitute, credit, or compensation for the expired Reward.
Modification; Termination. ChowNow reserves the right to modify these Rewards Program’s Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice to Restaurant Partners or Diners. All changes will be posted here. Restaurant Partners may suspend, terminate, or discontinue a Rewards Card at any time without any notice to Diners. In the event of termination or modification of the Rewards Program or a Rewards Card, actively earning Diners will be entitled to accrue new stickers until the Rewards Card is completed and the Reward is earned and redeemed.
Opting-Out. For Restaurant Partners: Restaurant Partners may opt-out of the Rewards Program at any time via the ChowNow Dashboard under “Settings.” For Diners: Diners may opt-out of enrollment at any time by emailing privacy@chownow.com with the subject line: “Rewards Program Opt-Out Request.”
Miscellaneous. The Rewards Program is available for select US residents and Canada residents only. Neither stickers nor Rewards may be auctioned, traded, copied, transferred, bartered, modified, sold, or redeemed for cash or a cash equivalent. Diner may be required to confirm their full name and email address to validate Diner’s account.
