Retrieving your Restaurant ID from the SkipTheDishes portal

To ensure a seamless integration of your SkipTheDishes account with ChowNow, you will need your SkipTheDishes Restaurant ID. This unique identifier is specific to each restaurant on the SkipTheDishes platform and varies for each individual location.

To locate your Restaurant ID within the SkipTheDishes merchant portal, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Access the SkipTheDishes restaurant dashboard by visiting https://restaurants.skipthedishes.com/user/login on your computer, tablet, or mobile device.
  2. Log in using your SkipTheDishes account credentials to access the dashboard.
  3. After successfully logging in, choose the specific location you wish to integrate with, and you will be directed to the portal for that restaurant.
    1. To illustrate, let’s take a look at the portal below where you can find the ChowNow test store. By clicking on the area marked in red, a drop down list of all SkipTheDishes restaurants associated with your account will appear.
    2. From the list, kindly select the specific restaurant you wish to integrate with ChowNow.
  4. Once you have selected the specific location you intend to integrate with, take a look at the URL displayed in the browser for this particular store. In the provided image below, this URL is circled in red. The Restaurant ID can be found within this URL.
    1. The Restaurant ID makes up for 32 characters in total and is represented by a combination of numbers and letters, and follows the following format: https://restaurants.skipthedishes.com/restaurant/<restaurant_id>/home
    2. In the example given above, the restaurant ID for the ChowNow test store is: 45761cfc-2dc1-4df7-b168-f4bb231d4130.
    3. Make sure to copy the Restaurant ID for integration with ChowNow.

Submitting your Restaurant ID on the ChowNow Dashboard

Finally, we’ll need to add your Restaurant ID information to the ChowNow dashboard to begin the integration process.

  1. On your ChowNow Dashboard, navigate to the Manage -> Integrations tab.
  2. Click on the SkipTheDishes integration.
  3. Enter the RestaurantID you retrieved above, and click Submit.
