What to expect when integrating with Otter?
There are two different possibilities when it comes to setting up with Otter:
- Direct POS Integration
- Otter Order Manager
When you are setting up Otter alongside your ChowNow account, you will have an Otter representative that reaches out to you to assist you along the way.
However, if you are looking for what to expect through this process, take a look below:
Direct POS Integration with Otter:
If you are integrating ChowNow into your POS system via Otter, you will need to work with Otter to provide access to your POS system. This will allow them to map your menu between your POS and ChowNow.
Once this process is completed, you will be able to publish your menu to ChowNow (see below for how to publish your menu yourself).
In order for Otter to connect to ChowNow, please make sure that you have set up your password for the ChowNow Dashboard, as they will need these credentials.

Otter Order Manager:
If you are using the Otter tablet to receive orders, you will need to work with Otter to ship your tablet out as well as set up your menu to publish (see below for how to publish your menu yourself).
In order for Otter to connect to ChowNow, please make sure that you have set up your password for the ChowNow Dashboard, as they will need these credentials.

Publishing your menu through Otter:
Follow the instructions below to publish your menu using the Otter Business Manager Portal (Otter Dashboard):
1. Select “Add Menu”
2. From there you will select your brand and the location of the menu that you wish to import
3. Select ChowNow and Press “Continue”
4. Select the locations you would like the menu to be published to
5. Finally, you will select “Create Menu”
