How do I get ready for the Toast Integration upgrade?
After the upgrade is complete, all settings involving menus and schedules will come directly from Toast. By confirming these settings, you’ll ensure a smooth and easy upgrade.

You’ll need to repeat these steps for every menu you would like to display on ChowNow.
1) Navigate to Toast’s Advanced Menu Editor page.
2) Click on the first menu you would like to schedule.
3) Scroll down to “Availability”
4) Schedule a start and end time for this menu.
5) Click “Save”
Repeat for every menu you want to be displayed on ChowNow.
Channel Visibility
Configuring channel visibility lets you decide which menus get sent to which ordering platforms. You may have one menu that gets distributed across all your ordering partners. Or, you might have a specific menu for a specific ordering partner, that shouldn’t be displayed anywhere else.
To configure channel visibility:
1) Navigate to Toast’s Advanced Menu Editor page.
2) Click on the “new menu page” link in the light blue banner.
3) Select “Channel Visibility” from the menu on the left side.
4) For a ChowNow specific menu, that you don’t want to be displayed anywhere but ChowNow, follow the below guidelines:
5) For a menu that you are displaying on multiple ordering platforms, just make sure that “ChowNow” is selected as a Online ordering partner.
Repeat for every menu you want to be displayed on ChowNow.
Delivery Hours
If you offer Flex or In-House Delivery on ChowNow, the delivery hours will match the “Takeout & Third-party delivery” settings found on the Toast Dashboard. To confirm or change these settings, follow these steps:
1) Navigate to Toast’s Takeout & Delivery settings page.
2) You can adjust times by clicking on the pencil icon next to each day.
3) And turn off online ordering and delivery for select days by clicking the toggle button.
Please note: These settings will alter both pickup and delivery times for all of your online ordering services.
4) Click “Publish all changes”
Adding Photos
Photos added to menu items on the Toast Dashboard will be displayed on your ChowNow menu.
If you don’t see photos on your ChowNow menu, confirm that the menu item has a photo uploaded on the Toast side.
